Mark Gergen, Chief Executive Officer
Mark Gergen brings to SpireLine over 30 years of engineering and operational experience. Mr. Gergen joined SpireLine in 2005 from Entelagent Software where he served as Chief Technology Officer and creator of record storage, retrieval and retention software. Tenures prior to Entelagent, Mark was the Chief Technology Officer at Paperless Ink, a document management company, and was responsible for the development and oversight of document management and optical character recognition systems. At Security Pacific Bank, as the VP of Product Management, Mark led the technical support, development, product management and customer service for image capture technologies. Mr. Gergen takes an active interest in how standards and industry regulations apply to record management and retention. Mark holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston.
Heidi Newton, VP Finance
Ms. Newton has extensive experience in finance, administration and human resources. Most recently, Ms. Newton was VP of Finance and CFO for NETdelivery. Prior to that, she was CFO for both ENSCICON Corporation and American Pharmaceutical Services (APS). In both roles, Ms. Newton was responsible for reengineering and development of all areas of finance and administration with a focus on customer service. With APS, she was responsible for over 20 acquisitions and joint ventures, assisting in growing the business from $50M to more than $330M in five years. She has participated with a variety of institutional and private investors to market companies and business segments. Ms. Newton is a CPA, holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA from California Polytechnic University.
Gloria Kohl, VP Sales and Client Services
Ms. Kohl has extensive experience in sales and account management. Ms. Kohl has a seven year history with the FormStream product line dating back to 2001 with NETdelivery and most recently with Patron Systems. Prior to SpireLine, Ms. Kohl was part of the original start-up team at MatchLogic, Inc. which was first purchased by Excite and later by @home to become Excite@home. During her four year tenure Ms. Kohl was VP of Account Management where she transformed three client service representatives into a department of twenty seven managing over twenty million dollars in revenue; later, as VP Sales she was personally responsible for selling and managing the online advertising performance for General Motors, Compaq, AT&T, Continental Airlines among others and supervising a team of six. Prior to her involvement in internet advertising management, Ms. Kohl sold Network Radio advertising in New York City for NBC Radio Networks, Westwood One and Mutual Broadcasting. Ms. Kohl holds a B.A. in English, Cum Laude, from the University of Colorado.
